Bookware Ltd. develops and offers an effective solution for the educational, general and corporate markets. We developed the platform that supports a variety of languages including Hebrew, Arabic and other RTL languages. Our readers render learning materials that may contain complex illustrations, formulas, tables, specific symbols and alphabets (e.g. math symbols). Powerful bookmarks, highlighting and markers system as well as the search engine make the Bookware e-book a convenient everyday working tool for students.  Publishers are provided with a complete publishing system to prepare, convert and publish the books on a selling site, a school server or removable flash cards. Digital rights management is supported by our own high-security DRM solution or by the industry standard Adobe Digital Editions™.

Bookware was incorportated in January 2009 by technology and  publishing professionals. We are working closely with Israeli publishers in order to convert Hebrew titles and build the repository of books in Hebrew. We are working with educational institutions and performing the e-book usage pilot with the Open University of Israel in 2010-2011 academic year. Read more in our  in mass media blog.
